Our chainsaw carvings are carved from local spruce and cedar from southeast Alaska.
Carvings are made with a relief cut on the back if necessary for that specific piece of wood to help prevent carvings from cracking or checking in the front.
Our chainsaw carvings are painted with several coats of finish to protect them so they are easy to maintain and should last for many years.
We recommend that carvings are not displayed next to a heat source, it is better if carvings that are left outdoors are under a roof eve or covered porch.
